i like both remembering Henry or H.M and the latin. is latin title pretentious? if so do we translate and doesn't it sound too heavy in english? we need more votes please. vanessa
I do like the Latin, but would the audience know what it means??.... Also if it was translated to "Not all of me will die" I think it would possibly sound a little too heavy..... They may expect something totally different.. but then is that a bad thing? Remembering Henry or H.M may be obvious, but I think that that is what we are doing in the piece, as well as showing all of the other aspects of research and knowledge he has taught us...
I do like the latin title but as Ria said the audience, won't know what it means, unless we put it in english beneath or something in which case you may as well keep as english.
I would like to put my vote towards, Remembering H.M or Room 113 hope fully it won't sound too Stephen King esque.
ok i agree with you ryan. i vote for remembering Henry. only because in our script as yet we dont say H.M. much.i need to email prices, title and show times for tomorrow morning so please all vote. production and designers please tell us what you think. vanessa
Im with tyrone when it comes to The Obviousness of the henry titles, Defo Between either.. the Latin title or Room 133 (dunno why but i like the sound of the latter)
I like "Remembering Henry", or "Remembering H.M." because that's he was known as to all the researchers etc.....
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ria. Either of them is cool. (I like chocolate, so bare that in mind)
ReplyDeleteas much as I like remembering henry or H.M I'm not sure I like the title being called that, its just to obvious and not really imaginative.
ReplyDeleteI quite like 'non omnis moriar' and its translation 'not all of me will die' sounds kind of nice and sweet. :)
Im quite liking the latin title :)
