more ideas

Non omnis moriar - Not all of me will die

latin for..................What is written, stays.

  • audience sent the latin phrases then if they remember what they mean they can choose where to go.
  • different areas will deal with different types of memory; a table, a breakfast bar, with a central big moment in the middle stage....
  • somewhere there is a cubicle where audience, one by one can choose what memory to create, recollect, share. record your memory using sound, writing, email, drawing etc for the next person. there are momentos, smells, recordings, reminders, memory book. you choose what to do in the cubicle. Alone. You leave with what you came with. But recollected, re-remembered, retrieved.
  • do they get option? can they have three alternatives? remember, share, test? so that each leaves with a different ending, either alone or in a group.
  • lecture by Eric Kandel. an actor stands in front of the projection of it. They remember exactly the lecture. We play with sound coming from both, either, alternatively. This piece is about how the brain works but also how the actor remembered and recollects.
